Veteran Telugu actor Balakrishna has been admitted in Care Hospital, Banjara Hills after he suffered severe pain from a wound on his left foot during the shooting of a song in Mysore for his forthcoming film Simha. Sources said the actor was wounded some months ago on the set of Mitrudu and the wound was infected from the last few days. His doctors have reportedly performed minor surgery and advised him to rest for at least a week. Dr. Saleem told the media that Balakrishna can continue his work after a week's rest. Apart from the ongoing song, one song is yet to be shot in Jordan. As of now, the shooting of the film has been postponed till Balakrishna recovers completely. The film's release too has been postponed to May. Simha is directed by Boyapati Srinu and produced by Parachuri Prasad under the banner of United Movies. Nayantara, Namitha and Sneha Ullal are the heroines.
