Director Sanjeevraj's Film Star, which narrates a story set within the film industry, is progressing at a brisk pace in Paathaalam near Aluva. Dileep is the hero. Disappointed, Nandagopan leaves Surya's room leaving the script there. This incident makes Surya Kiran to read the script. He gets interested in the subject and searches for Nandagopan, but in vain. What happens next forms the rest of the film.
