Darling is a big budget romantic-action-comedy entertainer being directed by renowned director, Karunakaran. The movie has Prabhas in a unique role where the actor's comic timing is well utilised. Kajal plays the female lead. The director is known for his magical ability to mix subtle emotions with comedy via extraordinary screenplay.
G.V. Prakash (the nephew of A R Rehman) scores the music, Andrews handles the camera, action is by Peter Hynes and Mukesh Rishi plays the villain. Veteran Tamil actor Prabhu plays a full length key role in this movie as the father of Prabhas. The comedy track is aptly supported by Dharmavarapu Subramaniam, M S Narayana, and Srinivas Reddy.
Director Karunkaran said: "It is going to create new trend. A cute love story mixed with action but it will have a new dimension."
