John Abraham refused to work with Asin

Bollywood hunk John Abraham has reportedly refused to work with talented lass Asin in Vipul Shah’s Hindi remake of Telugu film Kaakha Kaakha and asked the director to rope in a sexier looking actress for the role. It is said that the actor has even suggested the name of three actresses: Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor and his lady love Bipasha Basu.

Confirming the news, a source revealed, "Vipul Shah was very keen to have Asin as the lead actress of the film. She and Venkatesh were the lead pair in the Telugu original. Vipul was also impressed by Asin’s performance in London Dreams and hence spoke to her about his forthcoming venture. But on suggesting the same to John, he was shocked as the actor refused to be paired opposite Asin.

Meanwhile, when asked if John has refused to be paired opposite Asin, Vipul Shah said: "This is absolute rubbish. Asin’s costumes are ready. John has no issue with Asin or vice versa. It is purely a date issue and we are hopeful it can be worked out. Asin’s movie goes on floor in mid-June and is a one month-long schedule." John remained unavailable for comment.
