‘Electra’ a new Malayalam flick is to be directed by Shyama Prasad after the success of ‘Rithu’ and ‘Ore Kadal’. The movie is all about a Greek play which revolves around the character of Alexandara. The lead lady role is donned by Nayanthara, after her success in ‘Bodyguard’ with Sideeque with Dileep in the lead role.

The actress has decided now to enact in movies where there is enough space for her to prove her acting skills apart from concentrating in glamour. It’s only in this view she is listening to stories from any of industry like Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Another astonishing aspect is that this director has roped in Manisha Koirala to play as mother for Nayanthara. The pair of Manisha Koirala is none other than our Prakash Raj. Nayanthara is now ready to test her own voice with this movie. Yes, she is to dub her talkie portion in this movie. Vindhyan is producing this movie under the banner Rasika Entertainments. The script of Shyama Prasad and Kiran Prabhakar is directed by Shyama Prasad himself. The shooting of the movie is almost completed and is waiting for its post production works.
