Salman Khan signs for Force Motors ad campaign


Force Motors, a rising commercial automobile maker in India, has signed two popular Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Sohail Khan to feature them in an ad campaign for its recently launched commercial vehicles in the country that includes Trump 15 and Trump 40. The company deals in design, development and manufacturing of an array of automotive components and vehicles.

Given the marketing challenge, the company chose to adopt a ‘Sandwich Strategy’. The task was to position both the Trump 15 and Trump 40 which have a capacity to carry loads from 790 kg to 1100 kg respectively as a range that is tough, rugged and stylish. Also Force Motors has a heritage of making vehicles that are strong, reliable and fuel efficient. It needed to communicate this range in a simple interesting and memorable manner, Mr Pankaj Arora, executive director Mumbai & Pune, Triton Communications, said on the occasion.

The film shot in a Bollywood-style, with special effects and larger than life sets created on location ensured that the message was delivered in a simple yet effective manner. Since the company needed to establish that both the vein adhicles Trump 15 and Trump 40 were strong and rugged had the ‘Dum’. It decided to choose macho most wanted man Salman Khan and his brother Sohail Khan. The ad showcases that Trump 15 and Trump 40 jodi can help you overcome all competition signing off as ‘DUM HAI BOSS’, said Mr Renton D’Sousa, national creative director, Triton Communications.

Both Trump 15 and Trump 40 are available with the segment leading fuel economy and most spacious interiors, which makes them the first choice among the buyer of this segment. Besides the specious drivers cabin, the loading area of the model is also very big, which enables users to carry more loads and enhance their earning capacity.
