Balakrishna confirms son’s screen entry

Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is basking in the success of his latest film Simha with a whirlwind visits to the various temples of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha in the state, confirmed that his son Mokshagna, aged 15, would sure make his entry into Tollywood, but “certainly not now.”

Speaking to the media at Vijayawada, where he worshipped Goddess Kanaka Durga at Indrakeeladri hillock, Balakrishna said: “Now, Mokshagna is just 15. Still a lot of time is there for his coming into the field. Why in a hurry?” When he was asked to spell out at least the approximate timeframe for his son’s debut, Balakrishna said: “Certainly, he would come. But, I can’t say exactly when.”

It may be noted here that when some of the fans of Balakrishna met him a couple of years ago to introduce Mokshagna as the child artiste, he vehemently opposed their frenzied desire. Several reports appeared in the media that Mokshagna would be making his appearance soon.

Sources said that Balakrishna has plans to launch Mokshagna in Jan 2014, to coincide with the election frenzy. On the lines of Chiranjeevi (who is now staying away from movies after the entry of Ram Charan) Balakrishna too would handover the Nandamuri legacy to Mokshagna and would devote the Telugu Desam party completely, and even take the prime leadership, it is observed.
