However the actress in her is not yet satiated and she is thus reportedly going in for a signing up on quite a few new projects these days. The most popular star wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has also proved that marriage is a jinx for any actress in B town and has got a lot of important projects in her kitty right after she tied the nuptial knot with Abhishek Bachchan.

These days there is news floating around that director Vishal Bharadwaj is planning to sign Aishwarya and Hrithik Roshan for his project on the Shakespearean play Hamlet. Now this amazing play by the most coveted playwright like Shakespeare that too with the ace director like Vishal Bharadwaj and two of the most hot and happening stars of Bollywood like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan as the lead pair, actually sounds quite the perfect combination for a super hit flick!

As is known Aishwarya and Hrithik have looked extremely convincing as a couple in Dhoom 2 and Jodha Akbar, not to forget the amazing pair in the just released Guzaarish, it really seems like a dream project is about to begin for this deadly hot duo. Now with Ash getting such great offers even as she has crossed the 35 plus mark in her birthday count one really wonders is she plain lucky to get to work with the best of directors in B town?

Hrithik Roshan Play On Agneepath Movie Remake

Hrithik Roshan
Actor Abhishek Bachchan is certain that it’s difficult to match the performance of his father Amitabh Bachchan in “Agneepath”, but he has high hopes from Hrithik Roshan who is playing the iconic Vijay Dinanath Chauhan in the cult film’s remake. The 1990 film fetched Amitabh his first National Award.

“I wish him good luck. I think it’s a very brave thing to do. If you think of top 10 characters of Hindi cinema, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan is up there. It’s difficult but I have immense respect for Duggu (Hrithik) as an actor,”. Abhishek Said “He knows his job very well. So, obviously, he will sort it out. He’s not going to take on anything on whim or fancy. I am pretty sure they have a different interpretation of the entire story altogether,” he added.

Yash Johar produced the original “Agneepath” and the remake would be produced and directed by his son Karan Johar. Abhishek feels that Big B’s film shouldn’t be remade frame by frame, as it would put huge pressure on the new actor. “I think with ‘Paa’, you should not remake his film directly scene by scene because he is too iconic an actor. I feel that for most iconic actors. I feel it becomes a huge burden for the new actor to do. If you have a different perspective on it, like I think when Shahrukh Khan did ‘Don’, they had a completely different perspective of the original one,” Abhishek said. Abhishek rubbished all speculations that he was approached with the role before Hrithik. “I was never asked,” he clarified.

Aishwarya Rai Love And Duty On Guzaarish Movie

Hrithik Roshan & Aiswarya Rai
The movie will see her taking a bold step of taking all the responsibility in her own hands to help her patient to go into a deep sleep for good! In other words, she decides to grant Ethan her patient the wish to end his life, even though that would mean she would be put behind bars on charges of a severe crime.

The fact that her patient, Ethan Mascarenhas played by Hrithik Roshan decides to end his life after fighting with a paralytic attack for fourteen years is like a sudden shock to all connected with the character Ethan. His doctor urges him not to punish himself, the court orders the request to be rejected downright, but Sofia is the only person who decides to give him relief from the pain and suffering. But just before she helps in to end his sufferings, she gifts him one last night of blissful love and hope.

Sofia’s decision to spend the last night with Ethan was more for the love or for the duty is certainly hard to decide. The pathos and irony of the entire climax of the movie certainly calls for some thought over the distinction between love and duty. However, the underlying current of deep pain just cannot be missed out in the fact that life ends the moment one gets complete satisfaction out of one’s circumstances. So watch the movie to see Sofia caught between love and duty.

Hrithik Roshan as Hamlet and Aishwarya Rai as Ophelia for their next?

Hrithik Roshan as Hamlet and Aishwarya Rai as Ophelia for their next?: It’s a long-cherished desire of Vishal Bhardwaj to make a film with Aishwarya Rai.
But things couldn’t work out between the two in the past, and now after the release of Guzaarish, the director has once again started nurturing the thought to work with the actress; Paired with Aishwarya will be none other than Hrithik Roshan. Vishal, Ash and Hrithik indeed will make for a terrific combination. But what’s the script about?

As per sources, after adapting two Shakespeare dramas, Vishal wants to complete his trilogy with the Bollywood version of Hamlet. He apparently wants Hrithik to play the character of Prince Hamlet Of Denmark, and Aishwarya his ladylove Ophelia.

Vishal’s previous Shakespeare adaptations Maqbool and Omkara received rave reviews and are considered to be his best work. Always known to work with talented actors and actresses, the director has approached both the stars with the Hamlet idea. Will they give their nod?

Box Office Report: 'Guzaarish' unexpected slow opening!

Box Office Report: 'Guzaarish' unexpected slow opening!: In the festive season when madcap comedies are all the rage, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s dark and broody film Guzaarish wasn’t expected to get a great opening anyway.
Hrithik Roshan
The film, starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, had an average, or even below average opening at many multiplexes in major cities. But as the rave reviews began to come in from critics, and the positive word of mouth from the viewers began to spread around, the film picked up in the evening shows.

Multiplexes in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Pune saw greater footfalls in the evening. The collection is likely to go up further on Saturday and Sunday.

Given the fact that the film has no major competition at box office except from Golmaal 3 which released two weeks back, Guzaarish is expected to do a decent business in its first week.

We will provide you the box office collections of the film soon. Keep watching this space.

Hrithik Roshan met a lot of paraplegics and quadriplegics of 'Guzaarish'

Hrithik Roshan
Hrithik Roshan met a lot of paraplegics and quadriplegics of 'Guzaarish': The story of a quadriplegic who brims with optimism but ultimately turns suicidal moved Hrithik Roshan to tears.

When director Sanjay Leela Bhansali approached Hrithik to play a magician who’s bound to his wheelchair after a near fatal accident in his film Guzaarish, the actor had his doubts. Not that he doubted Bhansali’s ability, but Hrithik doubted his own mettle to play the role with full conviction.
“I was skeptical about the role because I was evolved enough as an actor and was apprehensive whether I'd be able to translate his creative genius onscreen. But when Mr Bhansali narrated the script, he had me crying and laughing at the same time and I couldn't wait to start working,” Hrithik said about bagging the role in the film which releases today.

In order to prepare for his role, Hrithik actually met a lot of paraplegics and quadriplegics.

“Meeting those people who have survived and found happiness against all odds was most inspiring to me,” Hrithik said.

Hrithik Roshan's 'Guzaarish' is dark, intense and tragic Movie

Hrithik Roshan's 'Guzaarish' is dark, intense and tragic Movie: From playing a superhero or a charming swindler, it was quite a leap for Hrithik Roshan to land himself in a wheelchair and play a quadriplegic for director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s latest film Guzaarish.
In the movie, Hrithik plays Ethan, a magician who is paralyzed neck down after one of his magic tricks goes horribly wrong. Aishwarya Rai plays Sophia, the nurse who develops feelings for him. The movie is a far cry from the light-hearted, slapstick fare that Bollywood keeps churning with mechanical regularity.

“Guzaarish is dark, intense with a tragic story but it is magical as it makes people smile. Ethan is the happiest character I have ever played and he puts a smile on everyone's face,” Hrithik told the reporters while promoting the film in Delhi. Hrithik also dismissed the notion that the film is a copy of the Spanish movie ‘The Sea Inside’, starring Javier Bardem.

“I had seen that Spanish movie before I read the script of Guzaarish. And for the last time, there is nothing similar between the two except for the fact that they are both based on quadriplegia,” Hrithik clarified.

When asked about his co-star Aishwarya Rai with whom he has worked in three films, Hrithik said he and Ash share a ‘perfect’ equation.

“Ten years ago, we gave our first shot together for a cold drink commercial. Our equation has been perfect ever since. Our approach to work is similar. It's great to work with a friend and there are no ego issues between us,” said the 36-year-old actor.

Talking about Bhansali, Hrithik said he enjoyed tremendous creative freedom while working with the director.

“While working with Bhansali, the kind of creative freedom I have enjoyed as an actor, I have never enjoyed in my life. He just let me fly. There were times when we used to come on sets and I used to have some thoughts in mind to add to the scene. But we used to communicate at such a level that we never sat and discussed it together,” Hrithik said.

Guzaarish is set to release on Friday, November 19.
