Urvashi who had glamorized the negative character of ‘Komolika’ with her heavy and almost garish make-up and extremely high fashionable wardrobe has become quite a celebrity in her own right since the portrayal of the role.
This time round, the actress will be seen in a serial which will air on Zee TV. According to the buzz going around, Urvashi will play a dashing mom-in-law to actor Sikander Kharbanda who was also seen with her in the earlier serial on Star plus.
The new serial is titled ‘Apno Ke Liye…..Geeta Ka Dharma Yudh’. The launch of the series is expected to take place somewhere around the 29th of November. It is based on the story of a lady who has her daughter and son-in-law living in with her. The various trials and travails that follow due to her personality and her son-in-law’s very arrogant attitude will be the high light of the storyline. As Urvashi and Sikander essay the role of mother-in-law and son-in-law respectively, the role of the Urvashi’s daughter and wife of Sikander will be portrayed by a newcomer called Deepika.
