Chimbudevan’s Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam (IKMS), the first cowboy film in Tamil release has once again been postponed. IKMS was originally scheduled to release on March 26, but was postponed to April 9.
Now as per trade sources, the producers Kalpathi S.Aghoram of AGS Entertainment has pushed it to May 7. They feel it is the ideal time to get the family audiences to come to the theatre.
The trade feels the film has been pushed to get a solo big release as by the time Paiyaa and Sura, would have been released.
IKMS trump card is Chimbudevan, the trend setting director of the super hit Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi and its cowboy theme backed by strong producers.
The trouble is that its cast has no fire power at the box-office. Lawrence as a hero is yet to prove himself at the box-office.
