Singam is being remade by Rohit Shetty and will be Kajal's first Bollywood film as lead actress. Kajal has made Telugu, Tamil and Kannada movies and hit big time with Chandamama (Telugu) and Saroja (Tamil).
But her moment in the sun came in 2009 with Telugu film Magadheera, her most successful film so far.
