Bhagyaraj debuting in Malayalam in Dileep's new film Mr.Marumagan

Tamil cinema’s legendary script writer turned director and actor Bhagyaraj is finally debuting in Malayalam in top star Dileep’s new film Mr. Marumagan. In the film directed by Sandhya Mohan, Bhagyaraj will play Dileep’s bossy father in law, while Roja will play his mother in law. Bhagyaraj was the man who re-wrote Tamil film script writing in the 80′s and early 90′s and was one of the first technicians to start the trend of director’s turning hero.

Bhagyaraj films were very popular in Kerala and in the later part of the 90′s and early 2000 his script had a big influence on Malayalam script writers. Sibi and Udayan, Malayalam commercial cinema’s leading script writers are writing Mr.Marumagan which will be directed by Sandhya Mohan. The highlight of the script will be the comic clash between Bhagyaraj and current number one hero Dileep, who excels in humorous roles. The heroine will be a newcomer. The shoot of Mr. Marumagan will start from February 17 in Chennai, and the film is likely to release in July.
